– WWE’s return to the Manhattan Center for last night’s 25th Anniversary show was a legitimate sellout, while fans who purchased the VIP options had the opportunity to meet WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jim Ross.
– Prior to The Undertaker segment at the Manhattan Center, WWE held a Cruiserweight match which saw Mustafa Ali defeat Lince Dorado.
– Following the WWE Intercontinental Championship match between Roman Reigns and The Miz, WWE held another Cruiserweight match which featured Hideo Itami & Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak & Tony Nese. All four brawled to the back, however after the Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair segment on television, all four came back out and brawled, which led to the match getting restarted and Akira Tozawa pinning Drew Gulak to pick up the victory for his team.
– Following the Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt match, once Bray had returned to the back, they played the Hardy Boyz theme song, which led to Jeff Hardy coming out and hugging his brother. Matt got on the mic and said that tonight, he lost a battle on The Great War, but asked Jeff what would happen to Bray Wyatt when he was done. Jeff took the mic and sang the Obsolete song.
– When the D-Generation X, Scott Hall and Bálor Club segment with The Revival came to an end on television, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair came out as a surprise and said that he was here for the first three editions of Monday Night RAW and then made the mistake of going back to World Championship Wrestling. Flair said that he was lucky to be able to come back and be here with his friends tonight and said that he got the best sendoff years ago thanks to Shawn Michaels. Flair talked about his recent health issues and said that all that matters to him tonight is being with the people who he loves and respects and put over Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, Triple H and Road Dogg.
– Following the segment where WWE RAW went off-air, D-Generation X, Scott Hall and Bálor Club remained in the ring as The Miz came out to cut a promo on everyone, stating that he was the only Champion that was here and said that they were meaningless former Champions that he would make sure will not be invited to WWE RAW 30 in five years time. Seth Rollins’ music hit and he came out as the fans chanted “ROH”. The Miz got on the mic and told Rollins to go downstairs to the Bingo Hall (Hammerstein Ballroom). Rollins said that it was true that he won the ROH World Championship downstairs and that he was damn proud of it and said that The Miz wouldn’t last 10 seconds in Ring of Honor. The Miz then turned his attention to the fans for not backing him when they were cheering for him earlier when he defeated Roman Reigns to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. The Miz had his back turned and when he turned to face Rollins, he ended up on the receiving end of the Blackout. Seth Rollins got on the mic and said that since he was a kid, he’s always wanted to say something and that is, “If You’re Not Down With That, I’ve Got Two Words For Ya!” as everyone chanted “Suck It!” and celebrated in the ring. Triple H got on the mic and said that tonight was a special moment for all of them being back here 25 years later at the venue where WWE Monday Night RAW started and said that standing here with so many of his friends meant the world to him and thanked them all as the D-Generation X theme song played.
