WWE crowned a new Intercontinental Champion during Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX as Sami Zayn defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new Champion.

Zayn’s victory begins his third reign as the Champion and brings an end to Nakamura’s 189-day reign as the Champion.
