New Japan Pro Wrestling crowned a new NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion during tonight’s NJPW Resurgence event at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California as KENTA defeated Hikuleo to become the new Champion.

KENTA’s victory brings an end to Hikuleo’s 18-day reign as the Champion.
