AXS TV, the former home of Ring of Honor when the network was originally known as HDNet have announced during a preview of its 2015 season, that it will be airing New Japan Pro Wrestling on television.

The belief is that this will not be the promotion’s current material, but episodes made of matches from major past events including the Tokyo Dome, G-1 CLIMAX Tournament and much more. According to a report from John Pollock of Live Audio Wrestling in Canada, Mauro Ranallo and UFC star Josh Barnett, who is no stranger to the Japanese wrestling scene, will be doing the English voiceover material for 13 episodes.
