New Japan Pro Wrestling crowned a new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion during today’s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 event as El Desperado defeated DOUKI to become the new Champion.
The end of the match came due to an arm injury suffered by DOUKI, with the referee declaring the match had come to an end, and El Desperado confirmed as the new Champion.
El Desperado’s victory brings an end to DOUKI’s 183-day reign as the Champion.
