The Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre promotion crowned a new CMLL World Women’s Champion during their Viernes Espectacular ~ Noche de Campeones 2023 event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico as Stephanie Vaquer defeated Catalina to become the new Champion.

The title, previously held by Princesa Sugehit, was officially declared vacant on August 16th, due to Sugehit suffering an injury.

The victory now means that Vaquer is a double Champion in the promotion as she also holds the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Zeuxis.
