The Lucha Libre AAA promotion crowned a new AAA World Cruiserweight Champion during their Luchando Por Mexico tapings on Saturday at the El Gimnasio Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City, Mexico.

In a Fatal Four Way Match to determine the new Champion, Komander defeated Mecha Wolf, La Estrella and KUUKAI to become the new Champion.

AEW star Rey Fenix vacated the title on June 18th, with the title officially declared vacant as of July 17th.
