The Lucha Libre AAA promotion in Mexico crowned a new AAA Mega Champion as part of their AAA TripleMania XXXII: Monterrey event on Saturday night, as Nic Nemeth defeated Alberto El Patron to win the vacant title.

The title had been vacated since March 16th as a result of El Hijo del Vikingo’s injury ruling him out of action for several months.
