NWA Brings Pro Wrestling to Chicago’s Riot Fest Sept. 20-22

The National Wrestling Alliance continues its rock ‘n revolution!

The National Wrestling Alliance announces its partnership with Riot Fest, bringing live pro wrestling to the three day Chicago music festival. This continues the company’s forward momentum after its electric NWA 76 anniversary sold out Philadelphia’s iconic 2300 Arena over the weekend.

From Sept. 20-22, 2024, Riot Fest presents top musical acts like Fall Out Boy, Beck, Cypress Hill and Rob Zombie live at Chicago’s Douglass Park. Now fans can experience the exciting stars and hard-hitting action of the National Wrestling Alliance as a special attraction during all three days.

“This is an incredible opportunity to bring together two fan bases which have always been so closely connected,” says NWA National Promoter Bryan Idol.

“Riot Fest presents the top acts in rock music, and the National Wrestling Alliance offers the action and excitement of live pro wrestling,” he continues. “It’s a combination that has worked for decades — and the NWA is excited to bring it to a new generation of fans!”

Over the past year, the National Wrestling Alliance has seen tremendous success on tour with The Smashing Pumpkins, the platinum-selling rock act fronted by NWA owner and President William Patrick (Billy) Corgan. The partnership brought NWA on sold-out stops across North America and Australia, documenting much of it on lauded reality series Billy Corgan’s Adventures in Carnyland.

Riot Fest builds on that success. Over the multi-day event, paid admission allows fans to see their favorite musicians live and experience the NWA at no additional cost.

Riot Fest tickets are on sale now.
