In new advertising for the WWE WrestleMania XXVIII pay-per-view on April 1st, 2012, former WWE Champion and WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio is being advertised for the pay-per-view. Mysterio who has been out since an injury sidelined him in August of last year, noted in recent interviews, as well as interviews on WWE’s official website that he was targetting a return at WWE’s biggest event of the year and setting his sights on the man who injured him, Alberto del Rio.

The updated sypnosis for WWE WrestleMania XXVIII reads, “Witness the once in a lifetime collision of The Rock and John Cena as they face off on the grandest stage of them all. Welcome to WrestleMania, the most anticipated event in WWE history! Don’t miss Undertaker, Triple H, Kane, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk and all your favorite WWE Superstars at WrestleMania, Sunday, April 1 at 7pm ET/4pm PT, live on Pay-Per-View.”
