Former Ring of Honor World Champion Michael Elgin will now be able to work any independent wrestling dates that he wants as he was unable to reach an agreement with Ring of Honor regarding an exclusive deal with the company when his existing deal expired over the weekend.

Elgin is expected to continue appearing for Ring of Honor at their events, however no longer in a full-time role.
