Independent wrestling talent Matt Cardona made a surprise appearance during Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision on TNT, answering Adam Copeland’s “Cope Open” open challenge for the AEW TNT Championship.
Cardona worked two matches for All Elite Wrestling back in 2020, teaming with Cody Rhodes to face off against The Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds and John Silver on July 30th, while at the AEW All Out 2020 pay-per-view on September 5th, Cardona teamed with Scorpio Sky, Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall to face off against Mr. Brodie Lee, Colt Cabana, Evil Uno and Stu Grayson in an 8 Man Tag Team Match.
