Ring Of Honor Wrestling sent out the following:
Ring of Honor returns to Baltimore, MD this Saturday night for another round of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV Tapings for our SBG affiliates nationwide! The fans at The Du Burns Arena have been great to us the last few months, helping back Baltimore a new home for ROH, and we are excited to be heading back on March 3rd!
Three new matches have been signed for the TV Tapings, and they are:
Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander vs. Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas
In a rematch of their bout that aired on November 5th, the team of Coleman & Alexander look to put themselves in the title picture and what better way than to beat the former World Tag Champions! Haas & Benjamin have a date with The Briscoes at “Showdown in the Sun” so they are looking to keep momentum going, especially if they end up with a title match in Ft. Lauderdale depending on the outcome of the Briscoes/Young Bucks bout in NYC. WGTT have shown an increasingly violent streak with their usage of chairs so C&C better be wary of the steel when they step into the ring on Saturday.
Kyle O’Reilly vs. Tommaso Ciampa with The Embassy
“The Dominant Male” heads into NYC the following night with his first ROH championship opportunity against World TV Champion Jay Lethal while Kyle O’Reilly is looking at the main event of the “10th Anniversary Event” as the biggest night of his career. Both individuals are on the cusp of greatness and a victory for either man in Baltimore will certainly set the right tone as they travel to NYC the next day. Will Ciampa keep his streak intact or will O’Reilly derail The Embassy Ltd’s train?
“Die Hard” Eddie Edwards vs. “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett with Maria Kanellis and Brutal Bob
The two men from New England were scheduled to clash in Richmond, VA back in January but a staph infection prevented Eddie Edwards from competing that night. Bennett has been itching for a rematch since Edwards beat him at “Survival of the Fittest 2011” and this is his chance. Both men face serious competition in NYC the next night, Bennett (as announced earlier today) with Homicide and Edwards, with Adam Cole as his partner, in the main event tag match against Davey Richards & O’Reilly, so this match is a must win for both men if they want to go into The Hammerstein in the right frame of mind. In this battle of Beantown, which wrestler will come out ahead?
Tickets for our Baltimore return are on sale right here, make sure you’re there as we tape more episodes of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV!!!
