New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced that Master Wato will be out of action for the foreseeable future as a result of a torn left ACL.

The injury took place during the tag team match where Wato and El Desperado teamed up to face off against Yoshinobu Kanemaru and SHO as part of NJPW’s The New Beginning In Nagoya event on January 20th.
