TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter recently informed some people to expect a major announcement soon, which many believed to be a new TNA Wrestling TV deal, but that may not be the case according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The report notes that there were claims of the company negotiating with a talent who would “shock people” and a new signing that would help bring buzz to the company, but nobody knows who it is and that it is not CM Punk or Mick Foley.

Meanwhile, another report attributed to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that at least some TNA Wrestling talents who have contracts that have expired or have contracts expiring soon state that no officials from the company are getting back to them and that the company are not doing any serious contract negotiations until their new TV deal negotiations are wrapped up.
