Dr. Wagner Jr. stated yesterday that El Consejo has invaded AAA to try to make an impression but in a promotion where you have to work hard to have success they are going about things the wrong way. Wagner said that these guys are disrespecting the tradition of AAA and he knows what these guys are about because he used to work with them in CMLL so he will impart his knowledge to his teammates Electroshock & Heavy Metal so they beat them at Rey de Reyes and force them back from where they came. Wagner said that Hijo del Texano & Toscano came from a place where you didn’t have to earn your way to the top as having the right connections made their roads easier to navigate. Wagner said that Joaquin Roldan and the Board of Directors has put him in charge of solving this problem and he will do whatever is in his power to defend his house and his fans.

Lucha Libre GALLI which is based out of Chicago will be having a GFL PPV this Saturday night at 8:30 PM EST and they will be featuring two interesting main events as in the semi-main event Skayde will be defending his NWA Mexico Welterweight Title against Discovery and in the main event Jorge “El Maramero” Paez who was one of the most dynamic boxers of the late 80’s-early 90’s will be teaming with Rey Fuego to face the legendary Chavo Guerrero Sr. and the top rudo in GALLI in Gigolo Americano. Paez had legendary fights with Calvin Grove who he won the IBF Featherweight Title from on 8/4/88, Louie Espinoza, Stevie Cruz, Troy Dorsey, & Tony Lopez before moving up in weight where he would lose a tough fight with Pernell Whitaker for the Unified Lightweight Title on 10/5/91 then followed that up with fights with greats such as Rafael Ruelas, Freddie Pendleton, Oscar de la Hoya, Genaro Hernandez, & Angel Manfredy. The PPV will be $9.99 and it will be available on GFL On Demand the next day at 10:00 PM EST.

New Japan announced yesterday that La Sombra would be returning in April where he would be part of the New Japan Cup tournament facing Nobuo Yoshihashi in the 1st round.
