The latest issue of Super Luchas has an interesting tidbit saying that there are rumors going around that CMLL has stolen the Zocalo show booking on 9/21 from Todos x Todos which was to feature the supposed 3 way mask match between Santo, Dr. Wagner Jr., & L.A. Par-K. The rumor is that one of the big apuestas matches that they promised at their press conference recently which didn’t have a date may take place on that show. If this does happen then it is a blessing in disguise for Santo because he can avoid having to not deliver the mask match as announced and blame CMLL in the process.
Speaking of Santo, you may remember recently the joint press conference that was held with WBC Dictator Jose Suliaman about the CMB Heavyweight Title and how a #1 contender for the title was supposed to be determined by tournaments around the world….well Santo announced yesterday that Heddi Karaoui has been named the #1 contender.
