Olimpico confirmed rumors on a Guadalajara radio show yesterday that in fact he is under the hood of Super Popular in Guadalajara which he defended saying that he isn’t frauding anyone because it’s a mask modeled after his old mask. Yeah it makes no sense and I have no idea why they decided to remask someone they were putting high on the card as a rudo and currently holds the Occidental Heavyweight Title. It also makes no sense for Olimpico to go on radio and admit the secret just a few weeks into the gimmick but I guess he wanted to silence the rumors that Super Popular was his son Exodia who suffered a career ending leg injury in 2010.
To show you how people can heal quickly, La Sombra announced yesterday that he would wrestle in his scheduled match at Arena Mexico on Friday night with his severely sprained ankle that was supposed to keep him out a couple of weeks. This is definitely risky because Sombra works a style that isn’t friendly on the ankles so any mistake he makes could put him out for a long time. Marco Corleone is also making his return on that show as well after being out of action for close to 3 months with his knee injury.

4. Cuadrangular de Tercias – Finals: La Triada del Terror (Averno/Ephesto/Mephisto) defeated La Avalancha Alvarado (Brazo de Plata/La Mascara/Maximo) when Mephisto fouled Mascara and Averno pinned him. These teams are having a rematch next week.

3. Extreme Tiger/Las Traumas I y II beat Cerebro Negro/Heddi Karaoui/Saruman but Eterno & Super Nova ran out afterwards and attacked Las Traumas.
4. WWS Welterweight Title: Dinamic Black defeated 911 by DQ when AK-47 fouled Dinamic as he tried to finish off 911 with a Package Piledriver. The referee took some convincing but made the right call. This was a long but good match with fans throwing money in the ring afterwards in appreciation.
5. Lumberjacks w/Straps Match: Black Terry/Veneno/Pasion Kristal beat AK-47/Fuerza Guerrera/Bugambilla del Norte when Bugambilla turned on Fuerza and sided with the tecnicos.
6. The Inferno Rockers (Devil Rocker/Machine Rocker/Soul Rocker) battled Emo Xtreme/Eterno/Super Nova to a DDQ when Nova ripped off Machine’s mask which one referee saw as Machine fouled Nova which the other referee saw.
