WWE SmackDown ring announcer Lilian Garcia will be singing the American National Anthem at the Metlife Stadium on September 30th, 2012 when the New York Jets take on the San Francisco 49’ers in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Day at MetLife Stadium, which is part of the NFL’s recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

In speaking to WWE.com, Garcia had the following to say, “When I got the call, I nearly dropped the phone. The Jets want me to do a seven-minute show with their Flight Crew Cheerleaders, and I’m going to be rehearsing with them next week.”
