The National Wrestling Alliance sent out the following:
Kylie Paige, Adrianna Mosley Enter Burke Invitational at ‘NWA 76’
Kylie Paige has declared herself for the National Wrestling Alliance’s Burke Invitational Gauntlet at NWA 76!
Paige enters the fourth-annual Burke Invitational Aug. 31 in Philadelphia. This multi-competitor match determines a new No. 1 contender to the NWA Women’s World Championship, earning the winner a future title shot.
A former NWA Women’s World tag team champion, Kylie is currently half of Pretty Empowered with older sister Kenzie Paige. A day after winning the 2023 Burke Invitational, the elder Paige cashed in, winning the NWA Women’s World title at NWA 75.
“Since debuting in the National Wrestling Alliance, Kylie Paige has been one of its hottest young stars,” says Joe Galli, NWA Chief Operating Officer.
“She has all the markings of becoming an absolute superstar,” he continues. “And The Burke Invitational might just be her opportunity to take that next, huge step!”
Kylie’s road to victory is anything but promised though. In addition to Paige entering the 2024 Burke Invitational, today NWA also announces yet another new face to compete for the prize.
Adrianna Mosley makes her NWA debut at NWA 76, joining the Burke Invitational Gauntlet as well. A six-year ring veteran, “Big Daddy Adri” has competed in promotions throughout the Northeast, capturing the World Xtreme Wrestling Diamond Division title among others.
“Adrianna is a real wild card for the Burke Invitational,” admits Galli. “I would venture fans attending NWA 76 in Philly, in the heart of the territories where she’s made her name, probably know more about Adrianna than even the National Wrestling Alliance stars she’ll face,” he says. “That makes her very dangerous!”
Paige and Mosley join “La Princesa” Tiffany Nieves, Mystii Marks, ‘HollyHood’ Haley J and Kayla Rossi as talent already announced to compete in the 2024 Burke Invitational. Numerous competitors have yet to be named, building anticipation for who the remaining contestants might be.
NWA 76 celebrates the National Wrestling Alliance’s 1948 founding with the company’s biggest Signature Live Event of they year. Commemorate nearly eight decades of “History, Legacy & Tradition” with a night of hard-hitting pro wrestling action at Philly’s legendary 2300 Arena, an evening of affordable memories and fun for the whole family.
An opportunity to meet and mingle with NWA stars prior to the event’s start is included free of cost with paid admission. Tickets are on sale now.
