It is with deep sadness to announce that “Killer” Karl Kox, real name Herb Gerwig, has passed away at the age of 80, after never fully revovering from a heart attack he suffered back in October.

Gerwig, who competed for various territories across America, Championship Wrestling from Florida and Georgia Championship, as well international promotions including World Championship Wrestling (Australia) and All Japan Pro Wrestling, was often considered by many to this day, as one of the best in-ring psychologists and teachers of the modern era of professional wrestling.
