Former WWE superstar, Kenny Dykstra, real name Kenn Doane, worked a dark match at last night’s WWE SmackDown and NXT tapings at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut in a losing effort to Justin Gabriel.

Doane, who hasn’t appeared for the company, since his release back in November 2008, has since gone on to wrestle for various independent wrestling companies such as Dragon Gate USA and EVOLVE and had a tryout match with TNA Wrestling at the beginning of 2010, before announcing back in November of last year, that he had rejected a second tryout match with the company.

No word as of writing, as to whether the WWE have made an official offer to bring Dykstra back to the company, however we will keep you updated.
