WWE superstar and current NEVER Openweight Champion Karl Anderson revealed in a Twitter video that he will not be appearing as part of the NJPW Battle Autumn event on November 5th in Osaka, Japan where he was scheduled to defend his title against Hikuleo.
Anderson will be teaming with Luke Gallows and AJ Styles against The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio) that same day at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Speaking in the video, Gallows stated, “You guys announced Bright Lights, The Machine Gun Karl Anderson for a match on November 5th. Guess what, we’re a little double booked because you didn’t run it through me, so he ain’t coming, we’re not coming unless it’s on our time.”
Anderson followed up those comments stating, “New Japan Pro Wrestling, I love what you’ve done for the Good Brothers through these years, I am the greatest NEVER Openweight Champion of all time, I only work when the lights are bright. November 5th, we’re not coming, we’ll come on our time, the Machine Gun will tell you when I’m coming to defend my Championship.”
