AEW World Champion Jon Moxley made an appearance via video during Friday night’s NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed event, discussing Shota Umino’s recent comments that Moxley was heading down a dark path.

Moxley stated that he is not mad, but disappointed and that he would be sending “an emissary” to the Tokyo Dome on January 5th, so that they can continue to work on molding Umino to become the Champion that Moxley himself knows that Umino can be.

Umino is scheduled to challenge Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship as part of the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 event on January 4th.
