Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, whose last match took place as part of the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door event back in June, made his return to the company during the opening segment of tonight’s AEW Dynamite.

Moxley, issuing a callout to Darby Allin, later made the tease before exiting the ring, stating to Tony Schiavone that “it’s going to take some time for everybody to wrap their brains around this, but we’re going to get started now, this is NOT your company any more.”
