In an interview with TMZ Sports, WWE superstar John Cena commented on the news that SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared by the WWE to return to in-ring competition, stating that Bryan was born to wrestle and done everything possible to get back inside the ring.

“He’s gone through every protocol, ten-fold. He’s one of the healthiest people in WWE and it just takes a lot of convincing of other minds that he’s that healthy. He’s worked his a** off to make that happen. It is what he was born to do, he’s back where he belongs.”
