In an update on the passing of former WWE Women’s Champion and WWE Intercontinental Champion Joanie “Chyna” Laurer, The Los Angeles Times reported that her official cause of death was an accidental overdose on a cocktail of painkillers, a muscle relaxer, sleeping pills and alcohol.

Chyna was found deceased in her Redondo Beach, California apartment by her manager, who at the time was in the midst of filming a documentary on her life. Since her passing however, Chyna’s mother has been aggressively attempting to gain control of her daughter’s estate from anyone involved for the sake of Chyna and the family.
