Ring Of Honor Wrestling sent out the following:

Retribution In NYC

Jimmy Jacobs, much like El Generico, had been quite silent regarding Ring of Honor since “Final Battle 2011” where he was one of the men who fell victim to Kevin Steen and the Package Piledriver.

That silence came to an abrupt end this past weekend on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV when, following Steen’s victory over Andy Ridge, Kevin attempted to nail Ridge with that now-banned Piledriver.  Corino, who was at ringside doing commentary, intervened to stop the attack, but it was Jimmy Jacobs who hit the ring and physically attacked Steen.  Grabbing the microphone, Jacobs challenged Kevin, demanding that the two most evil men in ROH’s history get together and fight!

Well ROH officials heard the challenge, heard the fans at The Du Burns Arena chanting “let them fight”, and they agree! So on Sunday March 4th, as part of our “10th Anniversary”, it will be “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen versus Jimmy Jacobs one-on-one!  These two men are no strangers to one another, with bad blood dating back years, but the events of 2011 surrounding Steen, Jacobs, Corino, and Generico have only exacerbated those emotions.

Now in NYC Jacobs will have his opportunity to do what Corino could not at “Final Battle 2011” and put an end to The Nightmare before he gets any closer to his goal of taking the ROH World Title.

“I told the whole world I wanted to fight you on TV Kevin.” said Jacobs, “I said we were the two most evil men in ROH history and that isn’t hyperbole; that is fact. You would be hard pressed to find any other guys in all of ROH who have spilled as much blood as the two of us, committed the sort of atrocities we have inside and outside of that ring, and been driven out of this place.  If that’s what I have to drag out of my soul in order to put you down like the rabid dog you are, then that is something I need to come to terms with before I see you in New York. You need to be stopped Kevin.  You can’t see that, you don’t want to see that, but you are out of control just like I once was.  Hopefully you don’t have to get hung to figure it out.”

Steen vs. Jacobs at the “10 Anniversary Event” in NYC!  It goes down in The Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday March 4th and you can get your tickets right here!  Can’t be there, then order it live on iPPV at http://www.gfl.tv/Events/Fight/Wrestling/Ring_of_Honor__10th_Anniversary_Show/1319/?refCode=GFLA152 for only $9.99!
