Jim Cornette, who worked for TNA Wrestling from 2006 until his departure from the company in 2009, is backstage at tonight’s GFW IMPACT tapings, however it is currently not known as to whether Cornette will make an on-screen appearance.
There had been reports earlier, attributed to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, that several GFW officials were considering bringing in Cornette as an on-screen character, however no further details were given.
Cornette last appeared for the company, as mentioned above, back in 2009, stating at the time that he was released because he was not one hundred percent behind the TNA Wrestling creative team, which at the time was headed by Vince Russo.
