Jersey All Pro Wrestling sent out the following:
Twenty years ago at a small bingo hall on Broadway in Bayonne, Frank’s dream of Jersey All Pro Wrestling became a reality. Month after month we ran shows at Charity Hall attracting a hundred people our first show and several hundred for most of our other shows. Two tiny bathrooms, a locker room in the basement, a small concession stand with Pierre’s mom inside and a real hometown feeling every time we had a show.
For many years we ran our shows with problems from the Mayor and even the Governor, telling us wrestling was not entertainment. Those were the days. Twenty years have flown by and now its time to come home. We are pleased to announce that on Saturday April 30th, Jersey All Pro Wrestling will begin its 20th year by returning to Bayonne as we present Homecoming 2016.
Our show will be held at the brand new BCB Bank Pavillion off Route 440 in Bayonne. The Pavillion is one block from the light rail and 2 blocks from the Stop and Shop and the Houlihan’s shopping plaza. There is parking across the street from the Pavilion. More info about the venue will be posted shortly.
Over the past few days since we posted a teaser on Facebook we have received dozens and dozens of messages and e-mails asking about the show and tickets. To be fair to everyone looking for tickets, we will put them on sale Saturday morning at 10 AM. Look for a link to purchase tickets at 10 on Saturday.
JAP will take you back to the old day’s with many of the wrestlers that began with us. Scheduled to appear so far are the HIT SQUAD, Lo-Ki and Homicide. Much more will be announced over the next several weeks.
