Chris Jericho and WWE have been in talks about a return since he left last year. Attempts to bring him back had been discussed a few times but no deal could be reached. WWE hid Jericho well in Phoenix and while he was at the arena before his entrance, so his appearance would not leak.

Mark Henry was also backstage at WWE’s Royal Rumble last night, however he was not used at the event.

In order to keep his appearance secret, it is reported that The Godfather drove into Phoenix last night to avoid any fans waiting at the airports.
