In a recent post on his official Twitter account, WWE NXT superstar JD McDonagh revealed that he is currently out of action due to a detached retina in his right eye.

McDonagh noted that he is estimating a 10-14 day recovery time before he is cleared to return to in-ring action.

.@WWENXT fans attending Live Events in Tampa/Citrus Springs this weekend – Unfortunately, after a sneak attack on Tuesday, I've got a detached retina in my right eye.

Waiting on a treatment plan, but I estimate a 10-14 day recovery time.
