New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced that Mayu Iwatani will put the IWGP Women’s Championship on the line against AZM as part of the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 event on January 4th, 2025 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

Previously announced for the event:

— Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs. Shota Umino for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

— David Finlay (c) vs. Yota Tsuji for the IWGP Global Championship.

— DOUKI (c) vs. El Desperado for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

— Ren Narita (c) vs. Jeff Cobb vs. Ryohei Oiwa for the NJPW WORLD Television Championship.

— The Intergalactic Jet Setters (Kevin Knight & KUSHIDA) (c) vs. The United Empire (Francesco Akira & TJP), BULLET CLUB (Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney) and Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita).

— Shingo Takagi (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita (c) for the NEVER Openweight Championship & AEW International Championship.

— Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. EVIL.
