Io Shirai, who is expected to report to the WWE soon, has returned to the STARDOM promotion in Japan as she has been announced as part of the STARDOM 5* Grand Prix event.

As of writing, there is no date set for Shirai to report to WWE, however she was reported to have signed around the same time that WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament participant Kairi Sane (formerly Kairi Hojo) signed with WWE.
