There was an internal change made within WWE today as Ed Wells, who held the post of Executive Vice President and Head of International for the past 13 months left the company, according to a report from PWInsider.com who note that Wells, who had been with the WWE since January 2008 and had worked with the MTV Networks and Nickelodeon, left the company seeking new opportunities.
The report states that WWE announced internally that going forward, John Brody, who joined the company in December 2015 as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Partnerships, will take over and oversee Ed Wells’ former responsibilities, as well as retain his old responsibilities, reporting directly to Michelle Wilson.
