Former WWE NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura did not make an appearance at last night’s tapings at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Nakamura, who lost the NXT Championship to Bobby Roode at NXT Takeover: San Antonio on Saturday night may have been kept off television to sell the leg injury he suffered during that match.

WWE will return to tape for television on Wednesday, February 22nd from the University of Central Florida which should cover the show up until WrestleMania 33 weekend. If Nakamura does not appear on those tapings, it will no doubt raise some speculation that he will be coming to the main roster soon.
