The All Night Express (Rhett Titus and Kenny King) defeated Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) at tonight’s Ring of Honor: Best in the World Hostage Crisis internet pay-per-view to become the new Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions.
Ring of Honor announced that the 2012 Final Battle internet pay-per-view event will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on December 16th, the same day as WWE’s Tables Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view event. To allow fans to attend the WWE TLC pay-per-view at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Ring of Honor have announced that their event will take place at 2pm Eastern. The company’s next iPPV is Death Before Dishonor on September 15th in Chicago, Illinois.
In other news from the iPPV that is still ongoing, The Guardians of Truth who debuted against The Briscoes to open the iPPV were actually former WWE Tag Team Champions The Headbangers under masks.
Adam Cole was believed to have had some teeth knocked out during his match against Kyle O’Reilly, however upon returning to the back, it was noted that Cole had a severe cut on his lip and some cuts to the inside of his mouth, while O’Reilly suffered cuts to his hand.
