TNA Wrestling superstar, Jeff Hardy, is featured in a new interview with Jim Varsallone of The Miami Herald, where he comments on his past actions, including his TNA Victory Road appearance and advises people against the use of alcohol and drugs.
Jeff said that he really believes that people learn from examples and through problems themselves and stated that himself and his brother, Matt Hardy, never drank or did drugs and when he was either 21 or 22, he first started drinking beer in wrestling and it escalated from there.
Hardy noted that it’s easy to do and it’s easy to get addicted, but if you never start, you’ll never have to stop and that’s the best advice that he can give anybody. Jeff said that he’s back to a place now where he was before, where he doesn’t need a pill to go paint a canvas and that his new fix is doing it again and while it took a bit to get there, he’s here and he’s a father now and that’s another huge inspiration in his life. Jeff then stated that through everything that has happened to him recently, to see his brother Matt, who he noted is doing really well and even with his daughter, he kind of knows now how his dad feels.
