Word coming out of last night’s Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor iPPV event is that Grizzly Redwood is no longer with the company, following an altercation between himself and Charlie Haas at the recent ROH “War” DVD taping, that ended up in Haas announcing his retirement from professional wrestling with immediate effect on the same night and pulling himself off last night’s Supercard of Honor where he was scheduled to face off against former tag team partner Shelton Benjamin.
Through a series of tweets, Redwood seemed to indicate that he would be returning to his former character of Mitch Franklin and has since shaved his iconic beard.

TNA Wrestling star Austin Aries, who helped to shave the beard, also commented on the matter:
R.I.P. to #TheGreatestBeardThatEverLived of @grizzlyredwood. An honor to be part of such a historic moment. Fresh face, fresh opportunities.
