Former ECW & NWA Champion Rhyno (real name Terry Gerin) was successful in his bid to win the Republic Primary to become Michigan State Representative of the 15th District last night.

Rhyno captured 38% of the vote, defeating his opponents Paul Sophia (36%) and Richard Johnson (26%).

For those who want to know how hectic his day was yesterday, Rhyno was in Michigan doing last minute campaigning for the Primary and then flew to Nashville, Tennessee for SmackDown, where he appeared in a backstage segment with Heath Slater, hitting him with a gore to set up a match between the two next week.
