Former WWE and WCW World Champion Bill Goldberg made an appearance at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany yesterday to help promote the upcoming WWE 2K17 videogame and while there, participated in a Q&A session with fans in attendance.

On the WWE 2K17 videogame, Goldberg said that he should be the one on the cover of the game and not Brock Lesnar, as he killed the guy that’s on the cover, a reference to their match back at WrestleMania 20.

Goldberg confirmed that he will be heading to New York City for WWE SummerSlam weekend, but said that is all he can say right now about that and when fans chanted “please come back”, he noted that you can never say never and even at his age, he has no problem putting back on his wrestling gear and ripping people’s faces off again and said that he just needs the opportunity and if the fans keep doing what they are doing, then it will happen.

On the possibility of a rematch with Brock Lesnar, Goldberg said that the two of them did not have the best match at WrestleMania 20, but said that Lesnar knows Goldberg’s power and what is missing for Lesnar right now is for an opponent to give him the kind of fight he likes to give everyone else and said that Lesnar knows what would happen if the two of them faced each other again and that it would be the same thing that happened at WrestleMania 20.
