Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) promotion have announced that former wXw World Tag Team Champion and winner of the 2018 wXw World Tag Team League Francis Kaspin has been appointed the new Sporting Director of the company.
Kaspin, who announced his retirement in May 2020, noted that his first official act is to declare that the wXw Women’s Championship, which was held by WWE NXT UK star Amale, has now been declared vacant, with no further word as to when wXw plan to crown a new Champion as of writing. Amale had held the title for 847 days, until wXw made the announcement, having defeated Toni Storm, Killer Kelly and Valkyrie at the wXw Superstars of Wrestling 2019 event on June 1st, 2019 in Oberhausen, Germany.
