Gangrel, who last appeared for All Elite Wrestling as part of an episode of AEW Rampage in 2022, made his return to the company during Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view, assisting Adam Copeland in picking up the victory.

During Copeland’s AEW TNT Championship Match against Malakai Black, a spot took place where Brody King and Buddy Matthews along with Black had Copeland tied up and were ready to attack, only for the lights to go out and then flicker red.

Gangrel made his return, misting King first and then Matthews, allowing Copeland enough time to attack Black and pick up the victory.
