All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan made an appearance during Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS to announce the return of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Khan announced that the opening ceremonies of the tournament will take place as part of the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 28th, with the tournament to take place throughout the Summer during many episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage in Canada, as well as the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II event on June 25th.

The finals of the tournament will take place on Saturday, July 15th at the Calgary Stampede Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. That event is currently listed as an AEW House Rules Tour event, however one would assume with the tournament finals taking place, that will change to a live televised event.
