It is with deep sadness to announce that former WWE referee Dick Woehrle, who worked for the company during the WWWF days passed away earlier today aged 80. Woehrle had been ill for quite sometime and would have celebrated his 81st birthday on April 1st.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of  Woehrle at this sad time.
