Hisashi Shinma, who was billed as the President of WWE from 1978 to 1984 while also being a booker and the Chairman of New Japan Pro Wrestling at the time, will be present at WWE’s live event in Tokyo, Japan this Friday to deliver his own Hall of Fame induction speech for those in attendance.

The appearance from Shinma is due to him being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year as part of the company’s Legacy Wing, according to listings on WWE’s Japanese website. Shinma was crucial to the WWE during his six years in his role as President, as it allowed the company to exchange talent, including fellow WWE Hall of Famer Tatsumi Fujinami.
