Former NWA World Champion Adam Pearce announced over the weekend at a Championship Wrestling From Hollywood event that he has officially retired from the ring, finishing up his career against Colt Cabana, in the final match between the two in what many call one of the best feuds on the independent scene.
Pearce has been teasing his retirement from the ring for some time and has worked with WWE on several occasions as a guest trainer and producer at the WWE NXT TV Tapings and recently worked as a producer for the WWE NXT TakeOver: R Evolution special last week, which will no doubt lead to speculation that he is WWE-bound based off his comments, however there has been no confirmation on that end as of now.
