Frank Wycheck, best known for his days in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans and a later career in TNA Wrestling, passed away on Sunday at the age of 52, with the news reported by the Tennessee Titans’ official website.
Wycheck played for 11 seasons in the NFL from 1993 to 2003 and at the time of his retirement, he ranked fourth all-time in career receptions among tight ends behind Kellen Winslow, Ozzie Newsome and Shannon Sharpe. Wycheck also made three consecutive Pro Bowls in 1998, 1999 and 2000, and was inducted into the Tennessee Titan’s ring of honor back in 2013.
