– Ric Flair’s daughter, Ashley Fliehr-Johnson is now going under the name of Charlotte in WWE’s developmental territory, an obvious reference towards her father’s hometown. The WWE developmental Diva commented on the new name on her Twitter account at this link.

– In an update on the release of WWE developmental Diva Sofia Cortez (Ivelisse Velez), there are reports that the former developmental Diva received great reviews for her in-ring work, but was said to have had a bad attitude as to wanting to be fast-tracked to the main roster. The feeling amongst some was that Ivelisse’s release was due to the fact she felt that she was a lot better than she actually was and made herself vocal about being on the main roster instead of biding her time in developmental.

– As mentioned previously on the website, WWE will be holding tryouts in Los Angeles following the WWE Summerslam pay-per-view event that will feature a combination of independent wrestlers and athletes from other sports and will be holding another tryout where the wrestlers will be evaluated by FCW trainers in Tampa, Florida on September 28th.

– Former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield will begin his climbing on Mt. Kilimanjaro in 6 weeks time and on Mt. Aconcagua in 16 weeks time. JBL is encouraging fans to take “We Want JBL” signs to WWE live events during that time. He also has a blog on his Facebook talking about how he trash talked Evander Holyfield at a WWE event in Madison Square Garden.

– Yoshi Tatsu appeared to have injured his arm over the weekend during the WWE’s event in Shanghai, China as officials delayed the start of the next match after Yoshi defeated Jinder Mahal, so that they could check on Yoshi’s arm ringside.
