WWE NXT talents Tommaso Ciampa, Roderick Strong, LA Knight, Io Shirai and Dakota Kai are backstage at tonight’s WWE SmackDown taping in Kansas City, Missouri, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.

While it is possible that any of the above talent could make an appearance on WWE SmackDown, the expectation is that they will be involved in dark matches prior to WWE SmackDown going live on FOX.
